Easy-listening Concert

Imagine listening to the melodic voice of Karen Carpenter singing all of her hits live on stage. Singer Lisa Rock, her 6-piece band and backup singers are bringing the music of The Carpenters back to the stage in Close to You: The Music of the Carpenters with their spot-on renditions of Carpenters classics at Cutting Hall in Palatine on February 19th in a fundraiser for the Palatine Public Library District Foundation.

Rock creates a Carpenters experience like no other. Her amazing four octave range allows her to sing hits like “We’ve Only Just Begun” and “Rainy Days and Mondays” in their original key, keeping the songs genuine and just like you remember them. Rock engages the audience to the point where you can’t help but sing along with her and share the memories of The Carpenters and their music.

To make your evening even more special, start the night with dinner at Giannis Café in Palatine. Show your ticket receipt and Gianni’s will donate 10% of your bill to the PPLDF. Bring your Gianni’s dinner receipt to the concert and be entered into a raffle that evening.

Buy your tickets now and surprise your sweetheart with a Valentine's Day gift or plan an outing with your best friends. Tickets are only $30.00 each. Get your tickets today at!
